We are all shocked and saddened by the senseless shooting at the Tree of Life Congregation this weekend in Pittsburgh. As a company we want to send a clear message that acts of anti-Semitism, racism, homophobia, and all forms of bigotry will not be tolerated. Hatred is unacceptable.
We have decided to take action by helping the Anti-Defamation League expand No Place For Hate, a school-based program created to prevent acts of brutality and bullying.
Additionally, to support our friends and neighbors in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill community, AEO Inc. will also contribute directly to teen education programs at the Tree of Life Congregation.
Together, we will move forward with determination and a commitment to ensure that justice, acceptance and kindness will always prevail.
